I don't know whether to trust zillow or not, since they are not very current.

Zillow did just sign a Listing syndication agreement with Move Inc (Realtor.com) who also owns Listhub

From the Move Inc Press Release..

"As a result of the new agreement, ListHub will continue to send approximately two million listings to Zillow directly from 358 MLSs every day representing 40,000 brokers throughout the United States."
Zillow Signs Listing Syndication Agreement with ListHub

Zillow also just acquired Postlets to have more Control/Say over the quality of Feeds from Agents using it..

"If an agent removes a listing from the MLS, but maintains the advertising on syndicated sites (e.g., Postlets, virtual tour, or their proprietary websites), it can continue to be fed to Zillow as an active listing."..

Seems more like a problem created by Agents/Agencies that should be corrected by Agents/Agencies than something wrong Zillow is doing IMO

Zillow aggregates data feeds from numerous sources. The bottom line is that the timeliness of data is only as good as the administrative skills in the marketplace. If an agent removes a listing from the MLS, but maintains the advertising on syndicated sites (e.g., Postlets, virtual tour, or their proprietary websites), it can continue to be fed to Zillow as an active listing. If you find interest in a particular property, it is best to reach out to a Realtor to obtain the current property status and details.
