Why can someone else change info and list my home??

I claimed the home several years ago, and now that we have it for sale, I see it shows as for sale, and the realtor write-up has replaced the verbiage I had entered.  How is this allowed when I own the house?  In this case, it's OK, but what keeps someone from listing a house that isn't theirs, changing info etc???

Hi rogergy,
I don't see a home in your favorites that is listed for sale. You have several "Favorited", so it's hard for me to tell which one you are referring to. In general, when an agent lists a home for sale, they send it to Zillow as part of their marketing efforts to sell your home. This is so that buyers that come to Zillow looking for homes will see that your home is available. You can click on my profile photo to contact me for further clarification.
