Why did the value shown for my home drop so significantly? My address is 4416 S 3rd Ave, Everett, WA 98203. I just checked the value of my home today following the periodic email I receive from Zillow. It showed the value to be just over $141,000. What surprises me is that just two months ago, the value shown was around $167,000. Now, when I look at the graph showing the price history of the home over the past couple of years, the entire price spectrum has shifted lower to support the current $141,000 value estimate. This is very odd and is simply the equivalent of "rewriting history". You just can't say the value of the home two months ago when looking at it now was lower than you said it was at that time. So, what gives here? Please explain this.
