Why did this house sell for only 172K? A 5 bedroom/3 bath house in Wallingford should go for +650K.

This looks like an in-family transaction.  The "seller" gave a quit-claim deed to the "buyer" for $172k, but they both have the same last name.   Probably not a sale at all, just a transfer of ownership.

You're right about the pricing, that would be the best deal we've seen in Wallingford in 15 years.
