Why did zillow move our house off of our street & into an industrial area, reducing our house worth?

We were told by the bank that they use zillow to determine house worth and I have a hard time believing that our house has gone from $382k to $246k when the house across the street sold for $20k less is now worth $50k more.  Zillow moved our house off of our street and 5 miles away and into an industrial park.  What gives and can't that you fix this?  It's affecting our worth and chances at a home equity line of credit.

How did they move it...without you noticing?  :)


The fact that the bank told you they use zillow to determine value is one very good reason not to use that bank!  No legitimate bank uses a zillow value to lend on.
