Not sure what you mean by being off 700 square feet. Are you saying that Zillow is off from the square footage in the tax record? Or that the tax record is off from the actual square footage?

Finished square footage is often not the same as taxable square footage, although usually the latter will be smaller as nothing below the kitchen is taxable in some districts (i.e. even a finished basement).

Why do half the homes in this area show a size 700 sq feet less than county records
