We care. We care deeply. All you have to do is make us aware of the problem and we'll fix it.

I've asked someone from Zillow to help. Help is on the way.

I see no evidence of fraud on Zillow's part if some other party has chosen to put your house up for sale instead of rent.  Probably it is simply a computer glitch (even fat fingering the wrong button) from you or your agent.

If your house is showing the wrong status, you will need to figure out where the information is coming from (and it isn't coming from Zillow, it is merely appearing on Zillow).    Is there an agent handling your rental?   If so, you can find the information in "listing source" at the bottom of the property details page.     Did someone manually add it (it wasn't Zillow)?  If so, the person who did so can change the status (it costs $9.95 for a 180 day rental ad if entered manually).

Zillow doesn't create the information.  You need to go to the listing source to have it corrected.  The source that provided the information is at the bottom of the home details page.
