My point is that you can utilized your company website and have a forwarding domain name to get consumer to your site for housing information and soforth. Using a domain name in connection with your
company website is the least expense way to promote yourself and your company and eliminating the cost of building a website

You can also start out with a profile on Activerain.com. Blogging / Zillow etc are great ways to keep your info and posts "fresh" and keep yourself in the rankings on the search engines. Less "static" than a website.
It's a great way to "get out there". I've gotten more leads from Zillow and other blogs than my website.

Also take a look at www.homestead.com. They are owned by Intuit (the same company that owns Quicken). It is pretty straight forward on how to develop a site. They are a one stop shop. You can buy a domain from them for a few dollars, they do all the hosting, and you download free software and create your site. I just started using them a few weeks ago. Feel free to take a look at it under my profile.

There are cheap alternatives. You could barter, yes that's legal. You could reduce a listing fee for a web master, site developer, I don't know they go by different names, in exchange for your website. If you think having a website is expensive you haven't seen anything yet! That's one of the smallest items and I can cover it with one rental. Will having a website get more expensive as time goes on, I betcha it will.
See if you can contact propertyminders.com they are great, and cheap

Why does it ccost so much money to start a website. Why are we spending so much money for success
