Why does the value of a recently purchashed lot show up on my home residence as it's value?

Profile picture for royaleyes1
We recently bought a lot IN A DIFFERENT CITY, but still own a primary residence. According to my home address on Zillow, the value of my PRIMARY residence is listed as the price that we paid for the lot. I deem this as a breach of privacy. No one needs to know what we paid for our lot in relation to the value of our home. Where can I call someone to take care of this issue? I will be contacting my attorney.

That would be disconcerting. If there is an error, please flag it in the price history table on the home details page for attention of Zillow customer service.

As Zillow does not use owner's names for anything related to public data, it may be prudent for your attorney to trace back where the error came from.
