I'd find this type of feature very useful as well. This site is very useful, but a few user interface functionality updates would add a lot of value and save buyers a lot of time.

Brenda, your idea is a good one, but let me explain why the home might be resurfacing. Many searches are set up so that homes which meet the search criteria are sent and then not re-sent unless there is a change in status. This usually happens if there is a price change (could also be because the listing expired and is re-listed or because it goes under contract). The search is looking for data fields selected (price, number of bedrooms, high school, you name it) so it might be difficult to do what you are asking because the data fields are all set up in the listing so that people can customize searches. To do what you want, would require that the search tool using this data would then have an interface which relates specifically to your profile and eliminates the re-send. I'm sure this kind of programming could be done by the supplier of the search interface as well as plenty of other improvements. The demand would need to be there for cost justification.

I second the motion.
