yeah, seems Zillow upgraded the algorithm driving their Zestimates last night, resulting in wild swings to the previous property valuations. For the non atom-splitters among us, its hard to understand how an algorithm tweak to sharpen Zestimate accuracy can result in 30-50% correction. For a metric with serious credibility issues to begin with, this just adds to the doubters.

I think something went wacky with there algorithym. My home value shrank almost 5k while my neighbors had little to none adjustments. Something is fishy in zillowland. My insurance agent was shocked when I told him about it, even he thinks something went wrong somewhere. I used to think this was a good site to evaluate my homes value, now I have serious doubts.
