Why has my home zestimate increased by a whopping $30,000 since September?

I applied for building permits in September to replace the driveway and the porch, yet neither of these projects have been completed.  Together, these projects would not add that much value to the home.  I do not appreciate how this reflects a fictitious property value that could lead to higher taxes.  It is not fair!

There must have been a sale nearby that drove the area up and raised the zillow price. It does not mean yours is up 30K. The tax assessor does not use Zillow....

Don't worry! Zillow estimates are not based on true market values. You can change your Zestimate on Zillow as the owner.
