The entire data series has been altered without any explanation to those who follow it.  Why?  What is going on?

Ron,
Part of the explanation could be the decrease in our inventory and as recently outlined in CNN article indicates the discount in purchasing is 7.8% off list and the sale price to list price ratio is 92.2%.

Ron,
I can only guess, but there were two HUGE closings in the market on the beach (one at over $13 million, and one over $16 million), which would definitely create an unusual blip on the screen.  Those are not the norms, of course, but the market is definitely heating up, based on my own business and based on the daily activity showing in our Multiple Listing Service.
    Hope this helps.
