Part of the problem is that Zillow's database provides a space for "type" of parking, but not the number of cars it can facilitate.
Still, it could be listed in the description so that it can be found with a keywords filter; but most people don't.
I don't even provide that info for my house; but then, I'm not presently selling.

don't have the answer, i haven't noticed it being all that common to not be provided. but if it's a common issue in your area, maybe suggest to the local Board to make the "garage type" field a required field (seems like it is required here) hopefully they will listen.
Consumers frequently are specifically searching and garage is a MUST..so it's too valuable not to have that info in there so that they will FIND it when they search.

Why is it that specifying whether a property has a garage or not is not common practice?
