Why is my value so much less than my neighbors

Profile picture for hutch24242002
Greetings,
I am the homeowner at 1218 E Hudson, Madison Heights, 48071.  Why is my home vaue so much less than my neighbors on the left and right, and directly across the street?   Are homes are of a similiar size, lots are the same, the size of the bedrooms are the same?  I can understand 5-10% difference, esp because of our purchase price, or uprgades such as flooring, cabinets, etc.  But Our home is 57% of the value of our neighbors in most cases?  Thats an extreme difference.  What would I have to do to have zillow and other internet valuation websites to view my property as the same as my direct neighbors?  This is a real concern for me in the long-term because I see at the current pricing I will lose a lot of money on my home.  Please contact me by email at CHUTCH83@aol.com or Beckyqwong@hotmail.com.  Thank you have a great day!

Your neighborhood looks a bit strange with a lot of identical houses but Zestimates jumping 40 k/ 80 k/80 k/40 k/ 40 k all down the street.   When Zillow rolled out their new alogrithm on June 13 there are some neighborhoods showing some odd patterns.  Yours (IMHO, but I'm not Zillow) appears to be one of them.    So, I flagged your property to alert the team working on resolving these odd occurrences.     I suspect it will be some time before they get it resolved.

Zillow readily admits that its Zestimates are merely estimates based upon public information.  Banks, Appraisers and Realtors never look at Zillow to evaluate a home.
