Every agent has their strengths and weak areas. I suggest you discuss the marketing plan your agent present to you. If yopu don't have one, ask for one. Review it with your agent weekly  until all marketing materials are in place.

Our agent droped the ball on us. We were curious about the listing on our house. The agent that were there was not aware that our house was even up for sale and it was not listed. I did my home work on this agent and sounded like the agent was all business and wanted to sell in a short frame. Agents in this area  just act like they could care less and would do a sale if it fell in there lap with no leg work. I checked the web site that was our house was to listed and it was not listed for over two months. Now you know why I am reluctant to use a real estate agent to sell for us. I can price our house for seven thousand  less by not going through a realtor.

What is your agent doing (or not doing) that you think should be happening?

Why did you hire this particular agent?  (Of course, you did interview several agents to chose this one, didn't you?)

What things did you and your agent agree upon for the marketing plan?  Are they being following?

Discuss what you would like from an agent with your agent.  If they are not receptive then you can discuss it with the broker.

Is your home listed appropriately?  (Listed competitively with other homes similar to yours)  Do you make your home available for viewings?

I would suggest asking for a complete marketing plan that you both agree on and go from there.

How much help do you want? You have told us you have a nice, pretty house that somwhere along the way lost a bedroom in the last four years, but nowhere have you mentioned what your agent "has" done or how they have "not" done what you expected.

That's a great question to ask your agent.  Have him/her go over the complete marketing plan.  If you're not happy with the service, then discuss it with your agent.
