I don't know where Zillow gets it's data, but I believe that it comes from a public records company.
If it is wrong for your house, you can flag it with the small gray flag next to the last sales transaction or for other data you can use the yellow "edit" pencil under the home photo to "report problem with listing". If Zillow can verify the error, they will correct it or remove the information.
