Why is the year house built for 815 Kennedy St, District of Columbia 1959???

I wonder why the listing says the home was built in 1959 when I know for a fact it was built much earlier. I know because I moved into that home with my family when I was four years old in 1954!  Also, the original toilet upstairs had a chain from above to pull down in order to flush the toilet. The year inscribed on the toilet was 1894! It is a very old house and had at least two fireplaces and had stand up radiators for heat.
