Yes, the year built is not what prevents approval of a home loan. The condition of the property as it relates to your loan requirements is what matters. many older homes have been renovated, updated and in some cases are in better condition than more recent built homes. Best Wishes!

No limitations on the age of the home. Many mortgage companies are now asking to see the home inspection report and sellers disclosure statements inorder to determine condition. Best of Luck!

Age of the home is not relevant, condition is (Some homes in New England were built in the 1700's!)

Yes you can get a mortgage on a house built in 1969. There is not a restriction on the age of the house most of the time.

It typically is the condition of the home that really matters. I can't answer for your area but here there are plenty of homes that age and older for which a person could get a loan.

Will I be able to get a mortgage on a house built in 1969?
