When one increases the square footage of a home by editing facts on Zillow, if the change is significant the Zestimate usually does increase. The timing on this tends to be a few weeks to a few months. The last one I monitored carefully was 8 weeks, someone else recently mentioned about a month.
I hope you are enjoying your bonus room.

Hope that helps, thanks for asking. It could take a while. however, remember that value is not reflected accurately here on Zillow. That is what an appraiser does or a real estate professional does for you with a cma.

You can see the Zillow FAQ here, and it should answer most of your questions.

I love the town of Oxford, such a pretty area. I work in the Greater Triangle area. Did you do the update with a permit,if so the public records, which is where zillow gets some of their information from, will populate over at some point, as wetdawgs noted, it could be weeks. If you are selling use a real estate agent, your information will get out not only on the mls but on places like Zillow. Good luck to you.
Will Zestimate update my home size and room size and how long will that take?
Thank you.
