Will updateing info about my home cause the county to maybe increase the assessed value & taxes?

It shouldn't since most assessors offices have their own system for determining how and when to reassess. However, if it is a concern, you can always call you local assessor and ask how they handle their reassessments and if Zillow plays any part in it.

Most municipalities seems to rely on recently pulled permits or upgrades that they can see that are not repairs to trigger reassessment, but I'm sure there are some exceptions.
