Did you just anwer your own question Susie?
Considering Texas is a non-disclosure state, homes values aka "zestimates" don't apply to Texas. They get their values from CAD and our state doesn't publish sales prices.

Zillow's website acknowledges that it may not have sufficient information to value a particular home and further notes that Zillow value is a "starting point" and not an appraisal. Zillow also suggests that you contact a realtor or appraiser regarding actual valuation of homes in which you may be interested.

With a 9/09 professional paid appraisal of $1,020,000 using closeby comps, why is Zillow so low?
