Call the listing agent and have him ask his client.

The best way to know is to have a REALTOR contact the seller on your behalf. Many sellers are not aware of how to accomplish a lease-purchase or lease-option in North Carolina.
Questions you will be asked. How much down payment? How much monthly payment? How long to finance (a year, two years, three)? And why are you not wanting to just "purchase" now, i.e. credit issues, a home you currently own hasn't sold, etc.?

Would the seller be interested in a lease-to-own situation?
