The area/house that you are asking about is not showing up in your question. If you are referring to investing in Canby, OR, I would say that you need to consider the job base there, business growth in the area and the value of areas nearby with greater access to public transportation/jobs like Portland. Personally, I do not see strong growth in the Oregon market in the next 10 years due to fewer out of state relocations and a less than attractive near term climate for business development in the state. Houses that are purchased with a PITI greater than rent are not a good value in OR in my opinion right now.
