Would you ask your neighbor to not hang her clothes out while you're trying to sell?

This is an actual photo of my client's neighbor's back yard,
It is in a townhome complex and the CC&Rs clearly state this is a no-no. they are good friends and my seller doesn't want to hurt a friendship what to do???

If they're good friends she's gotta tell here she's breaking the association rules and making it darn hard for her to sell her home.

If that doesn't work, ask the association to send her a letter restating that the hanging of clothes outdoors is a violation of HOA rules.

When I saw that picture I immediately heard the theme song to 'The Beverly Hillbillies" in my head. No idea why.

Seriously, my landlord does the same thing and quite frankly it looks tacky.

LOL I hope that photo is the first one that comes up on the listing. You know for some people peeking at underwear hanging on a line would be a selling feature. Maybe your friend just needs to be more proactive and ask her friend to replace her standard underwear uniform with some polka dots, lace and spangled thongs instead. Either buyers will think they are moving in next door to a Playmate bunny or her neighbor might get the idea to hang her laundry inside.

On my gosh yes, that is hysterical.  Post it as a "local area photo"

So, one has to either be outside or in the master bedroom to see it?  Probably with a zoom lens?  If that is the case, I'd drop the subject and support environmentalism.

well, wedawgs, this is a photo that was taken by my client secretly right at the picnic table outside. It is visible through the master bedroom window next door, obviously the angle of vision would be looking down on the laundry.

Here's the irony: Both women are of the board of directors for the complex's HOA.

Is this a view of the client's neighbor's backyard using a telephoto lens from an unusual view, or is it a view where it would be just as shown when sitting in the dining room or living room, etc.?

My humble opinon is if it isn't right in the face, then leave the neighbor be.  If she's good friends, perhaps on open house days the friend will be happy to pull the laundry in.   The neighbor gets gold stars for being environmentally sound by hanging your laundry out to dry rather than using the drier.

I'd never buy in a complex that didn't allow laundry to dry out, the old standby energy conservation approach and nothing to do with hillbillies.
