If you're interested in receiving homes within a certain price range, I'd also recommend having an established realtor set you up through the MLS. The MLS has the most accurate and up to date information and you could be emailed homes that match your criteria as soon as they become available. Let me know if I could be of any help. Go to "subscriptions" (Bottom of the list on the left of the page)
From here you can make changes, be sure and delete the "similar" searches I was talking about.

My mistake was to use the "send similar homes to this one" feature. I have selected homes say on an acre, with a pool and a shop that were say $220000 and it sends me everythng from homes in neighborhoods with 8000 sg foot lots for $80,000 to million dollar estates.

I don't have any alerts set up so I don't know for sure, but you might want to look under the "My Zillow" tab to see if there is something you can uncheck in the preferences box. If that does not work, repost and I'll see if I can hunt down a link with better info.

Go back in and tweak your choices. Make sure you enter the price range you are looking for. You can also go on an agents website and do the same thing. Zillows listings are not always accurate, meaning they are outdated because sellers or agents neglected to remove them once they came off the market. A good agent can send you listings in your price range and match your other criteria. A buyers agent does not cost you money.
