Hi,
My home is 6,130 sq ft and zillow has it at nearly half!
I corrected the info nearly six months ago and I might add that our tax collector site is correct. Where does zillow get this inaccurate data from? Sometimes this site is a pain in the @ss!

We have a known issue with our sqft data in some areas that we are in process of correcting as an error was introduced in our data feed. Please check back on Friday and see if it's back to normal.

The problem we have is that tax site is incorrect. New Hanover County North Carolina does not include 2nd floor square footage in the calculation and therefore does not reflect the true total on the tax site....oh... they do include patios. Don't ask me, but will my edited facts be reflected in the ad or when people search for our home?

For some reason, the square foot on the house was reduced from the correct size of 2360 square feet to 1850 square foot recently. We just had our house assessed and the correct square footage is 2406 square feet. First of all, why was the square foot reduced in the last few months? When can Zillow be corrected to reflect the true square footage.

As I mentioned above - For all of you that have noticed your sqft number dropping recently on Zillow reported home attributes - we should have things back to normal soon. We had an error that snuck its way into our data feed processing. The SQFT number should be back to original values as soon as Friday this week. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The sq footage is incorrect for my home. In addition, the value is incorrect. THe sq footage should be 1886. The houses around me are selling for the high 400's and low 500's.

My square footage and value is way off. My house at 3108 Rex Drive has 4945 finished sq. ft. and the Zillow information has it at 1,239 sq ft. How can it be this low? Also, the Market assessed value is $370,090... How can that be when many of the homes around us are $400k to $500k and we have more sq. footage and upgraded features then our neighbors?

Those of you that noticed that your SQFT was reduced recently, I would like to update you that we have fixed the issue and sqft information should show total sqft numbers as reported to us by our vendors.
I tried a few addresses reported in this thread and it looks like the numbers are correct.

tried to change size of lot, says I have 1/3 acre, actually just over 1 acre
Wrong Sq. Ft.
The Square Footage for our house is not correct. It's showing as 1100 whereas it should be 1708. I have claimed the property and updated it on Zillow several months ago. Even the Assessors website shows it as 1708. Can you please let me know how to update it on Zillow. Due to this the Zestimate is coming bit low than it should be. Please help.
