Try calling them directly at (206) 470-7000. It took us a while to track down this number when we had a Zillow problem. Good luck.

Hi-
Zillow therefore failed to update their data and then spread incorrect, harmful real estate information. Then they should not be in the real estate info business at all. Who is in charge of controlling Zillow's behaviour?
They should be put on probation and probation failure should result in their paying damage and their business being closed down.
Thanks for your explanation regarding such criminal behaviour. May I know you who are?

Unfortunately, you will be waiting sometime for an answer from Zillow by posting a question here. I highly suggest using the discussion forums in order to ensure a better chance that your request gets a response.
Since the majority of their data is automated (hence the impersonality) and the East Bay MLS was not online until the early 90's, my guess is that they used past tax records to find this sale date. The fact that you have lived in your home for 20+ years and market value was much lower back then, Zillow's system probably interpreted this data as unusable or a family transaction. I don't believe they were trying to be vengeful, but stating that they could not plug that sale date into their algorithm because it is dated. The Zestimate you are seeing therefore is most likely based on comparables in your neighborhood and recent sales data.

Wrong and harmful information about my property.
"This transaction was not used in computing the Zestimate for this house due to anomalies we detected with this transaction. These anomalies can include unusual document or transaction types, sales between possibly related parties, unusually high or low transaction prices, or other data irregularities that might indicate the transaction is not a full-value, arms-length transaction"
Your information is incorrect and is very harmful. I have owned and lived in this house for 22 years and have never received any papers or documents from anybody that something is "unusual"."anomalous" or "irregular" that you have "detected" about the purchase of my house.
Where did you find these "information"? This is very harmful and sounds ipersonal, even vengeful. Request that this information be deleted ASAP.
