Please forward me to the correct department to speak to in regards to this matter. I do not know who to contact at your company to correct the information you are posting on the web. The web site Zillow is posting my homes Value  the value is incorrect the information is incorrect and I want it removed immediately. You say I sold my home 3 years ago, Which never occurred. You value my home at 131,000 dollars my true value is 315,000. I do not want this mis information posted! I have not requested it. I tried to log. On and correct it. You are still valuing my home at half it's value. I feel possible you receive this info from a quick claim due to a divorce or a second home loan. Neither one of these values are correct!  Homeowners have enough problems with declining values without you adding to their burden with misinformation!  I want it removed immediately. Or corrected. You are wrong in posting it. I want it removed in 30 days.or I will contact my attorney.  I paid 265,000 for my home 7 years ago It was valued ar 400,000. 5 years ago  Comparable homes have sold on my block and  in my area  for $335,000. You may contact me at 205 540-7568 for any questions or at andersenisthename@yahoo.com I await a reply or action ASAP Sincerely Mary Andersen 1256 Eagle Park Road Birmingham Al. 35242

Hello. I am not Zillow, but I might be able to give you some suggestions to help. You can flag the incorrect home transaction using the small flag next to the one that is incorrect. That will send Zillow an email and they can get it corrected if it is in error.

Also, if you just updated the home facts it will take 6-8 weeks minimum for the changes you made to affect the larger Zestimate if it's going to. Not all changes will affect the Zestimate, but some do.

Zestimates are not appraisals and what you paid 7 years ago is not really important. The market is being significantly impacted by REO's and short sales. They can affect your value on Zillow and affect your value in the market too. My suggestion is to try to get the incorrect sale removed and then allow time for your edited home facts to make their way into the Zestimate. It may still not be accurate, but it should improve the accuracy of your home page.

I have tried all of this. SI low has not complied. The information is incorrect. I am very aware of the market and pricing. I did not contact Zillow I did not ask for this posting. When I discovered it. I tried to correct it and even did the research to find out how in the world they came up with this value. Which is more then half of my property. I am not selling my home. I just want this information removed. I didn't request it and the Internet is forever. So I am now trying through this venue to get it removed! This is ridiculous!

I understand, but if you just claimed your house May 14, it will take time for your value to find a more accurate level. Again I am not Zillow, but I think that the 2008 sale is problem and is affecting your value, but I think an even bigger issue is your tax value.

The valuation of only $1688 from the assessor and yearly taxes paid of $75 is significantly below many of your smaller neighbors and makes Zillow think by the numbers that your house is worth significantly less. All Zillow has are numbers so if they are wrong, that causes problems for the Zestimate.

Updating your facts is the best thing you can do. It looks like your chart is headed up i the last 2 weeks. I would reflag the transaction in 2008 as an error. Updating the tax valuation, home facts and removing the erroneous sale may all help make your Zesitmate more accurate.
