According to So. County Sheriff Commander Haskell, Oceano is "not the drug capital of the county." According to him, Grover Beach has a bigger drug problem that spills over into Oceano. Paso Robles & other North County communities have a bigger drug problem than Oceano. It's unfortunate that ignorance continues to play a role in perpetuating the myth that this is an undesirable area. I've lived here since 98 & have never experienced, or heard of any of my neighbors experiencing, any criminal activity whatsoever. I feel very safe here, where Oceano, Grover Beach (the non-drug part), & Arroyo Grande come together. A nice feature of the home: a family w/young children can watch their children walk to & from Ocean View School from upstairs. It's one of the better grammar schools in the county & has won several achievement awards & recognitions from the State.
Because ignorance persists, this area is the best kept secret in California w/the best real estate prices & affordable beach living. The weather is great, we're temperate & have no need for air conditioning & don't use heat too often in the winter. Oceano has its own wells which gives us lower water rates. The overall cost of living is inexpensive compared to other communities. We have an organic grower .5 mi away, a weekly farmer's market 1 mi away, & a beautiful strawberry field 1 mi down another road - we don't use much gas to get good food. This is a great location w/great weather, schools, neighbors, good food, & a low crime rate!
I recently heard of Zillow & checked it out. I noticed they had the smaller home on record & submitted an update re additions & improvements. Zillow has not updated their guesstimate. Homes around us w/much smaller lots are selling in the $450,000 range. Why Zillow has not updated their site is beyond me, but it really doesn't matter. Anyone truly interested in purchasing the home will get a real appraisal which will be much more accurate than anything Zillow puts out.

Isn't this neighborhood the drug capital of the central coast?

You're out of your minds
Even with the updated information of additions that increased the size of the home that I sent you, you haven't corrected your Zestimate.
Also, the comparison you have of the median of homes in the area selling for $419,000. with your placement of this home at 50,000, less doesn't make any sense at all.
You guys are so far off the mark - you are a disservice to society & I definitely will not be recommending you to anyone.
