Thank you for correcting your home's location on the map.
I checked your home on the website and looks like here is the original record of your home and this one is a duplicate.
As for your other concerns, please note that Zestimates are based on the data we have about a home. Zestimate accuracy can vary from one home to the next - based on the accuracy and completeness of the information we have about those homes. Let's say we have no record of a sale for your home, then it becomes harder to calculate a Zestimate. Most importantly, mapping problems don't impact Zestimates. If your home is is the wrong place on the map, whether it has been corrected or not, that factor will not be used in calculating Zestimate.
Hope this helps.

i went to the trouble of correcting my home's physical location on Zillow maps about two weeks ago. Now, when I log into Zillow, my house has reverted back to the exact same ERRONEOUS map location. why is that happening? What is the point of allowing owners to correct these mistakes is the system continues to revert back to wrong information?

Actually, Ice, I still don't understand why the Zestimates are different. And, for the record, I did not create a duplicate listing ... I only claimed and added additional details to the existing listing.
The listing you ID as the one with public data clearly shows my purchase of this home in November of 2010 for $209,900. It shows it as a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home ... which is also how it's depicted in the "second" listing where I added even further details which only serve to increase it's value. So I don't understand why Zillow thought it was appropriate to devalue the house by nearly $24,000, especially considering that the City has raised my house's value by $30,000 on my Dec 2011 tax assessment.

Your home with public data
Your home's duplicate
If you click on those two links, you will see why the Zestimates are differing.
Thank you.

I'm a bit confused, Ice. The information on the sale of my house to me is a matter of public record and easily accessible. As is the tax assessment information. Those are both public databases. Do I need to provide that data to you separately in order to ensure an accurate Zestimate?

I figured out how to physically correct the map location of my house and have dragged my house indicator into the correct part of town and the correct street address. However, the valuation you post for the house is still way wrong because you had my house in the wrong neighborhood with lower property values. How does THAT get corrected?
You are showing my house INCORRECTLY on a map of the wrong physical address. How do I correct this?
