The maps on Zillow are way off. My house isn't even on a road. Its not close to the house. I can see my home on the map, but the road is not near it. I think you need to move the maps over and I think this person was right. The maps aren't in the right place.
Love the site though.

The initial map on the home profile page does use flash, but there is also browser side script that is used to control the interaction with the page. The Birds eye map doesn't use flash for example, so if you are in an area where Birdseye is available, it should show even if you don't have flash installed on your computer. I am thinking that some of the browser side code hasn't downloaded properly and needs to be refreshed. Again, it would be good to know browser version and OS.

Do you have auto-updates set to on, especially for add-ons like "flash player"? Zillow programmers are not always up to date with the latest "upgrades".
I make sure I turn all auto-updates "off" as it not only takes way to much time to install when I was trying to do something else, (which prevents doing any complex loading...), but I'm also one that thinks if something isn't broken it shouldn't be changed...
The Flash website keeps sending me a notice that there is a new version of Flash player to install... I keep telling it "no". But if you have auto updates on, you may be using the new version (10 something), or it may not have finished loading it.
Make sure you report which flash version you are using in addition to which browser, and which operating system. It also makes a difference if you are using a 32 bit or 64 bit machine.

Thomas, can you tell me what version of IE you are using and what OS you are on so I can try and help track down the problem you are having. I was able to get the map on the home profile page to work in IE9 on Windows 7.

ThomasK97305,
I use both IE and Firefox. I started experiencing the same issue as you're having using IE just yesterday. When I use Firefox, no problem.

The maps and bird's eye /street views required a compatible flash player. Some of the versions are not compatible.
