ZILLOW - fix my data! My home did not sell in 1/09; the last sale was my 1/05 purchase.

It makes the whole neighborhood look bad that you recorded the sale of #1 on both #1 and #4.

Does anyone think contacting the Better Business Bureau would make any difference, since we do not pay for Zillow's "services?"  So many people use Zillow now that I'm afraid having a short sale price on my home will make it harder to sell eventually.

We scan these forums all day for problems; the best way to get something fixed is to the post the problem here.

And I've removed the faulty sale. You should hopefully see a refresh by this time next week.

Since April 2009

Zillow gets "sold" info from the local/municipal property tax authority.  One thing you can do is contact that authority to find out if the info has been incorrectly applied somewhere in their database.  Ask tell them the issue is with the data zillow is getting from them.

You can also click the little grey flag on the bottom right side of your question and, in the pop up box that appears, ask someone from zillow to contact you.  If you do that, to speed things up, include both house addresses in your note.

My suggestion is contact the agent and have that person go to the board and see if they can correct.  Zillow is only as accurate as the agents who input the information.
