Anyone can apply for a patent with the U.S. patent office and pay the fees. It doesn't mean they can use the patent. But they could license it to those that could, assuming that the patent application is valid and isn't existing state of the art or someone elses patent.
Over 80% of all patents never get used. Most patents are written to keep others out of the market, not to bring new ideas or technology to the market. People make more money suing for patent infringement than they make using the patents.
If no quotes; it could mean the contact fee is too high, which could be related to the FICO score. Try lowering the FICO score to the point where the contact fee is $0 and see if you get better results. Lenders are always happier when the FICO scores are higher, but they don't like those contact fees.

I believe Zillow is about to determine, or be forcibly reminded, that they need some new licenses. They have applied for a patent for a loan origination program, yet they claim they are not loan originators. Something is going to have to give here.

1. If no kidding... "zillows houses go unsold" - If they do not sell houses how can they go unsold. Zillow provides data nothing more in regards to homes.
2. The lender chooses to quote a loan request Zillow does not say this is a good quote for xyz lender. Every lender has access to the loan request and they choose to make a quote. Zillow is currently in a law suit with lending tree and the difference between matching lenders and allow lenders to make a quote is likely the bone of contention in the law suit. I am sure Zillow would say they do not "match lender"
3. Manufactured home is the killer. It needs to be an option so that lenders do not quote on a loan request that they cannot provide a loan for. If they do and you contact a lender that quoted they are charged for you reacing out to them...would be very frustrating for the lender to be charges $10-$50 for a Contact that they had no chance of providing financing for.

While it may be an option to finance a manufactured home through Zillow, it appears that there are no lenders who are willing to quote on a manufactured home who do business on Zillow.
So it's an option, but no lender is willing to finance them so Zillow returns Zero quotes.

1. No kidding.
2. Don't they advertise "Get a rate quote, click here"
If they allow these links on their site then they do "match" lenders.
Value 190,000
Asking 160,000
Borrowing 152,000
It's a manufactured home and I've been told there is no conventional financing for them, but thought I would try since theres an option for "manufactured home" on the quote page. If the banks dont want to finance these then they can keep them and I'll look elsewhere.

1. Zillow doesn't sell homes
2. Zillow doesn't match lenders
Lenders will quote loan requests based on what you are requesting. If you are getting no quotes odds are you are looking for something that doesn't exist.
What is the
Loan Amount you want?
&
Current Value of the property?
