Zestimate changes on subsequent requests

i have a simple little script that calls the API and lets me see a few properties.

http://www.greer.org/cgi-bin/zillow.py

however, what i have noticed is that the data changes on subsequent request sometimes.  i can load the page, then hit refresh a few times and the number change, then maybe they change back.

any ideas what may be happening?

Hi "Greer7,"

Can you provide a few examples of properties where you're encountering this issue?

Thanks!

Even on the home details pages, I've seen new values posted, then the next day that new value is "gone", and it is back to the previous estimate.  New estimates are supposed to be posted nominally 3 times per week.

Likely the issue is that Zillow uses multiple servers to handle the traffic volume of close to 70 million users.  Sometimes some of the Mirror servers are not kept up to date, for who knows what reason.  (Could be a server change and a DNS didn't get updated).

If it continues to happen, a bug report needs to be filed.  But as Zillow has hundreds of known bugs, I don't bother unless it is of sufficient concern to cause issues to many users.
