Zestimate is being used on Various Sites and if incorrect could harm you chances of selling

You say Zillow are not estimaters but so many other companies use your estimates.  The general public doesnt know this and DO use your estimates as fact.  They argue that your pricing too high because according to Zillow or another company that uses (posts) your estimates, thats what its estimated at.  It is doing a diservice to buyers and sellers alike.

I have updated facts and the estimate hasn't changed.  Very angry at such a large and "reputable" company that cannot change info that is incorrect and  that is pertinent in the sale of a home.

Saying the Zestimate is incorrect is like saying to new parents that their baby is ugly. The Zestimate is only an opinion just like a listing price is an opinion. Buyers may offer to pay that price or pay less or choose not to buy at all. Until you have a sale all valuations are estimates based on varying degrees of information and specificity.

After one edits facts on a home, it takes several weeks to several months for the Zestimate to update (if the changes are significant to factors used in the Zestimate algorithm).   The last one I monitored carefully was 8 weeks.   It looks as if you edited the data within the last day.
