Zestimate

Hello! I think you have misinformation calculating the Zestimate on my home. First, our home construction was not traditional. For example, we purchased the lot from the land owner first. Then, we hired a builder to build on the land we owned and paid them for the construction of the home (which appears what your value is based on). Then, things like appliances (we have a fully stocked custom gourmet kitchen) we purchased ourself. Landscaping and fencing we purchased as well. Houses with similar features that we have are selling for $20+/sq ft more than what the Zestimate is showing.

It's just for fun...not a serious tool.  Typically no one from Zillow will look at this post.
No one ever saw inside your home so there's no way to accurately predict the prices....plus it can change from month to month day to day.
It's the number people love to hate.....Just a conversation starter.

It sounds like your non-traditional way of purchasing the lot etc means that there is not an accurate sales price showing for the entire home & land?   Zillow's best fall back in cases like this is that a fair tax assessment shows.       Bargain prices (e.g. fixer uppers), new builds and buy lot/build are homes that don't represent well in Zestimates.  

You are welcome to claim your home and share your estimate of value - CMAs and appraisals tend to be good ways to find a good number.   This doesn't replace the Zestimate, but does offer an opportunity to share why you think the Zestimate is too low.    ($/sq foot is one of the poorest ways to evaluate home prices as homes are sold as a unit).
