Congrats Martin ....
I noticed they took away the post count (need to see the profile).
You super star !
Now watch all the other lurkers rush to start posting to get a star. I think I may just sit back and watch for a while, the conversation should get interesting!

Martin ~ I think you are our 3rd look-a-like ! Or is that you, Bob Sackit ? sp
GVD - yes indeed! It appears we have a lender on the leader board with no Blue Ribbon. What does one make of that? Things that make you go Hmmmm........

Wayne, you're a Zillow All Star too!
GVD, not me, but I get that Bob Saget comment a lot. What do you expect when your picture is that small. I'm guessing everybody with dark hair looks like Bob Saget at that point.

Oh crap! I just noticed they gave one to AA too. I guess it's like the 2006 loan programs, if you can fog a mirror you can get one. LOL! Just messing with you AA.
I think its a good idea based on posts. Contributing to the site.
You got 99% of the lenders signed up here with 500 quotes and 4 posts.
The small gang of us who post on a regular basis helps Zillow and borrowers who read our threads.

It certainly isn't a popularity contest if they gave one to me.

Maybe Zillow will starting paying for each helpful post... PPP Pay Per Post :) You never know!
CL,
Ever see Full Metal Jacket? Charlie looks like the nutcase in that movie. They need to watch that kid! Haha!
I think Zillow should have a 'pay per post' .
Homeowners and potential borrowers can click on our names for .10 cents per post. The post can be hidden until they click .
We need the money in this environment.
I seriously hope that was a joke Tom!
Ok , fine.
5 cents per click.

I am curious what happens on 10/9/2008. Our profiles have a "badge history" and it shows a range of dates. Do we get "re-evaluated" on October 9th? If we are bad will they take our badge away and replace our blue ribbon with a browny award for being full of caca?

LOL...hey...this Zillow Star badge might be a sign that Zillow will recompense for the time invested in posting quality info... which increase their earnings in Adds.. ..how much those ING Orange ads cost? 100K?

In the beginning...
In early 2005, Zillow founders Rich Barton and Lloyd Frink were fresh from the success of bringing travel to the Internet at Expedia.com.
These guys know what they're doing.. I think Zillow will be bigger than Realtor.com and LowerMyBills...LendingTree....

Maybe there should be different levels of "badges". My only issue is you can post one contribution and boom, you're on. Where we regulars, are posting all the time and we are at the same level as the lender who posts once just to get his badge. You could have the following:
blue badge (minimum of 20 posts),
bronze badge (minimum of 150 posts),
silver badge (400 posts minimum),
gold badge (850 minimum posts) and
platinum badge (1100 posts minimum).
That way not everyone is at the same level and it takes more than one contribution to get one.
