Generally, Zillow is not aware or able to take home upgrades into consideration, as the value does not represent an official appraisal. For example, with our home, the Zillow information listed only 2 bedrooms, when we, in fact, have 3. So, the square footage was off by a considerable amount. Also, we added a composite deck, which was also not something that Zillow was taking into consderation.
