No kidding.. I know insurance brokers making a killing! Auto..Home.. you get paid everymonth from the same customers... 1000 customers = 1000 commissions checks everymonth!

No scarcasm intended.....but most of us on here Already work pretty good together. Since I only do CA, I often refer or push some of the other posters whom I've come to respect on here from their posts.
Bottom line is that you are probably no different than anyone of us in that we'd all like to get business on here from Answering questions from people coming on here and asking for advise.
For me the only issue is the way you have come across here with what appears to be Blatant Spamming to get your name or business out there. That's fine and Dandy, but Zillow Normally monitors us for any Blatant advertising.
I'm willing to extend my hand in good faith, but you also have to understand where we think you initially and maybe still are coming from......We All want business off of here, but we have to do it in a Very Soft Manner by just trying to help people with honest and precise answers to their questions.
If they like what they've seen or read, maybe they will hit up our profile and call us.

I hope they do something like LowerMyBills.com or LendingTree.com...but will Zillow charge us? Maybe a monthly membership. Zillow has great potential.. they can be the next realtor.com, LendingTree..etc..

I have always believed Zillow has been an irreplaceable item for homeowners. Whether it be for purchase, or to sell a house, to refinance, or simply out of curiosity.

I guess I wasn't, 'musta forgot! Sorry again to anyone I've offended here!
However, in my defense, After 25 years in the trenches I guess at 50 years young I've become a little Jaded. OMG, did I say that? I guess it's time we all look in the mirror for a while as it appears that Tom has lead the way. Thank you Tom for truly inspiring me! 'Ya know If we think about it, this is the first time that some of us have reached out and connected with the talented ones, the ones with the vision of what Zillow could do for our industry, the founders group! The Elite! We were bound to lock horns in the beginning because if you aren't thick skined, forged in fire, and have a true desire to help people you'd be out of this business in a New York Minute a long time ago as 10's of thousands have, even as I write this! But here we are! I've always been like a dog with a bone when it comes to defending the underdogs in this world. Probably in part because I've personally been there more than once in my life! Not to tute my own horn but after 25 years (it's actually been 32 years counting the fact that I have been in sales since I was 18 years old) I guess that makes me the old dog on the porch, it's ok, wisdom comes from learning from others mistakes as well as your own and not repeating them, Grass Hoppers. If you could imagine my aggressive attitude, not taking no for answer, applied to helping a borrower though the jungle of, 30, 60, 90 days late, NOD, foreclosure, bankrupcy, reposessions, divorce, child support, eviction, homelessness, suicide prevention, hopelessness, credit counseling, marriage counseling, Federal, State, County, and City attorneys, lawsuits, IRS, collection agencies, criminals, victims, scams, con artists, politicians, family, friends, neighbors and debt negotiation, WOW!

Twenty five years of experience is amazing. I dont have as much. I got into the credit and lending industry in 1988. Thats only 19 years ago !

For what it's worth, I've never seen this forum as a place to troll for prospects (and never have), but if some of you have and it worked out, great. I've always thought of this as a discussion forum, a place to kick arund ideas, if you will, and benefit from everybody's many years of experience and uniqueness of opinion. I'd think that if this gravitates to a LendingTree type of thing, the vultures will swoop in and the valuable ideas being tossed back and forth in here will no longer have a place. I feel that it is more important for a homeowner or prospective homebuyer to browse here and freely exchange banter as a valuable educational tool before committing to something without the benefit of having done so. The "knowledge is power" theory. I'd hate to see what is basically a free public service become one more place where hungry sheisters can win customers by being the best BS-er. (Not insinuating that any of you others fit that mold. Quite the contrary. I just fear what the place may attract.)

Frank1003... Zillow is great.. so far is the best free Real Estate Service available to all of us.. and it is also great to exchange info..like the other day.. I didn't know one have to pay Mortgage Tax in New York(SEMA) every time you buy or refi...
