Well, it is true that it is "worthless" to the people that got kicked off the site for abusing it. But it is an extremely valuable resource to about 15,000,000 other people.
I would rather the site cater to the 15 million than to the ones that thought the purpose was for their personal spam.
There is nothing the site could do before that it can't now, unless you go back to 4/22/10 when the "Home Q&A" was discontinued, or back to approximately December 2008 when the "heat maps" were discontinued.
Sure, the site is not fully keyboard accessible; but it never has been.
If one is having trouble understanding the filters or the sorts; just ask; there are many that will tell how to accomplish what you desire.

Zillow.com is now worthless. It used to be an invaluable resource.
