HI soulchiken -
Sunnyview is correct. You can claim the house to make the changes. You can email me directly if you are having some problems so I can check. You can send me an email by clicking "Contact" in my profile.
Thank you.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Updating your house is still pretty much the same as it always was.
You can use the yellow "edit" pencil on your home page to claim house and then use the same menu to update your home facts. The change is immediate. Are you having issues updating your home facts? It could be a bug or something.

but where...it used to be easy to correct "lost rooms, sq footage or a garage" but now it is not so quick to do---Zillow is losing the PR fight

Are you using a Realtor? If so, contact him/her and have them correct!! As a realtor, I check my lisings often for possible errors!!

Zillow is a free forum to the public. If you want to make it better, claim your house and make the needed corrections.

I undertand your frustration, but I do not understand why you would not claim your house and try to correct the things that you could by claiming and updating.
Maybe you have already tried to do those things in the past and got no help. I don't know. Things lately have changed a bit at Zillow and they seem more willing to address certain errors that they had trouble addressing or did not address before. I am not Zillow, but if you tell me what issues you are having I may be able to at least make suggestions about how to get certain issues addressed based on what has worked for other owners. Zillow still may not address them all, but you may be able to get your home page better even if it is not 100% fixed.

Zillow is about as lame as can be. They have my house confused with another one for the last year.
