I understand the claim....
But this is really about the Bang for the Buck..Ads and Leads for Agents
Zillow will be bundling the Ads they sell so it will cost more to advertise or buy Featured ads ect. So will the claimed added exposure mean more leads...We will see
Hits do not necessarily mean more Bang for the Buck for your Ad money or leads.
.It's who attracts the Serious Buyers for your Market and how many serious hits YOU get from the Ads for your money and time
Hits are also deceptive..Are we talking Hits, Unique visits?
How many of the Hits are Agents/Pros posting listings, posting in the Forum, checking their listings ect..
Unique visit..Same Questions...Based on IP #s..most agents use multiple computers, so do a lot of consumers
So How many of the Unique hits are really consumers? Based on what, determined how?
Numbers are fun but the Bang for the Buck and time are what really matter and for the Agent in this Market should determine for them who's #1

@ Dunes
On your link Zillow is #3 and Yahoo is #2 -- so when they combine they will be #1. Realtor.com is losing market share. I am sure there are some up and comers and Zillow/Yahoo will have to continue to compete.

Hi- Whitney from Zillow. Here's a link to our site stats and traffic. In July, 11.7 million visitors came to Zillow, up 35 percent from a year earlier. I've also included a link to the recent Yahoo! partnership announcement blog post.
Starting this fall, Zillow will exclusively sell advertising to real estate agents and brokers on Yahoo! Real Estate and Zillow will supply its 4 million for-sale listings, as well as Zestimate home values, to Yahoo! Real Estate, creating a convenient one-stop advertising solution that brings together the second-and third-largest real estate websites.

I'd say it's number one, but I might be a little biased. I appreciate the local market charts, the online advice and the useful information in the FAQ section. The mortgage calculators are also helpful.

Zillow, where do you rank on a scale of 1 to 10 in real estate sites?
