Depending on your agreement, the most likely scenario is you'll get your money at closing.

Depending on your state..Some state fall under WET Settlement Act under which the money is released after recording at the court house.

So if close on Friday, goes to recording on Monday... you may not see the money hit your account till Tuesday or Wed. Check with your attorney or closing office.

Normally, the day of closing.  Depending on financing, inspection issues, title issues, and the wishes of both the buyer and seller, it could be a week or it could be months.
