In general, Yes VA loans are more helpful and easier to qualify for compared to conventional loans. The main reason is due to the fact that the Dept of VA, is willing to guarantee a portion of your mortgage to the bank. This guarantee relieves some of the risk to the bank, therefore, is willing to make the loan for those approved and qualified through the VA.

They are easier when is comes to no fees or down payment for the customer. Coming up with a down payment for some is not an option. Also there is no MIP and flexible credit standards.

are VA loans easier than other loans with the economy?
