I do not care about the value, on here. why is only one of my neighbors homes on here? is it for sale? is it in foreclosure? why does zillow list one property over another? is it a random selection? thank you.

Zestimates are a computerized "guess" at the price based on public information. Depending on the area, they may or may not be very accurate. In my area of Charlotte, NC they are NOT very accurate.

Or hire a REALTOR, because a Realtor will give you a Comparative Market Analysis for FREE. This will show "market value" not just "appraisal value." The appriasal value is based on past sales, not necessarily all of the current market conditions.

why would a neighbors house be listed by zillow but not any other houses on the street?

Zillow estimates are exactly what they say on the tin, an estimate of the properties value (presumably based on other sales in the nearby area and some sort of proprietry algorithm).
If you need an actual property value you need to hire an appraiser.
