1) You need to be licensed in the area where you would be showing the homes.

2) There are some FSBO and other non-MLS listings including "featured listings" on Zillow that may have other showing arrangements than typical SupraKey lock box arrangements.  Some FSBO will insist they show it.  Others will let an agent show it, but only at given times and by special appointment and arrangement.

3) Even if licensed, if you want to show outside your local MLS area, or if you don't have a SupraKey for the area, you may need to make other arrangements.

4) Even if licensed, if you don't also have a brokers license and are not working under a licensed broker, you would not legally be able to represent a buyer, thus it is not just a matter of taking 130 hours of courses and passing a 4 hour test and paying a licensing fee to become a Real Estate Agent.

And as already mentioned, if a home has been taken off the market, but still indicates it is for sale, you can't show it just because it still says it is for sale.

(And do agents really take the time to register on a website as a non-agent, and make up trick questions to try to trip up their competitors?)

Since you are new to Zillow, don't confuse the homes that have a zestimate only vs those that have a for sale price.  Some listings stay on zillow for years, yes years after they have sold.  Some listing agents are just not good at removing them.

I too suggest that your best bet is to search for the most accurate data in the MLS.  You can however also look up homes that have a "make me move" price on them on Zillow.  Those are FSBOs but most sellers say that they will work with a Realtor.

Happy selling.

Naima

Yes, you may show homes listed on zillow. Usually they are on your MLS so all you need is a lockbox key or the combo.

If you are a licensed agent and belong to a local MLS.You would need to pull them up from the MLS and set up a showing through either the listing agent or through the showing service. That information will be provided on the listing. If you are not a member of a local MLS then you may have a problem because you will probably need a Supra Key to gain access.
Good Luck!

You can if they are active in MLS. Just pull up your local MLS and make appointments to show them.

Yes, but you will have a much easier time showing properties if you join your local board of realtors and become a member of the MLS. Most properties now require a Supra key, as well.
