bad credit but putting 1/3 down ?

Me and my wife have bad credit I guess because we dont have credit cards or car loans. We were just presented an opportunity to purchase a house that asses for $69,200 for $30,000. I can sell our current home and put $10,000 cash down. Our debt to income ratio is 22. We're fine with paying higher interest while we get some stuff figured out. Is there a company out there that can help us ?

Your debt to income ratio shouldn't be the problem it sounds like your credit score.  Try working with a local lender or credit union.  Charla Salathe at Bank Mutual in Janesville might be able to help you.  Please let me know if you would like her contact information.

Happy Wednesday, sounds like a good value, first try for financing at your favorite bank or credit union, no charge from them to give you an answer.
Second, if financing from the bank is not workable see if the seller will work with you selling the property to you on a land contract. Actually there is a third choice and that is if one and two options don't work see if someone in your family could buy and sell to you on a land contract.
