buying a home after bankruptcy

bk case discharged aug 2011. our credit is now around 650 avg, no debt at all. make 72k . have 10% down. son and his wife will co buy. They have excellent credit. can we buy

You need to find a lender that will run your credit and talk with you about it.  that is the only way to know for sure.

There's only one way to find out!  Talk to a trusted mortgage lender.  Different programs require different "seasonings" of a bankruptcy, foreclosure or shortsale.

Good for you on taking care of your credit since the BK - that's the best thing you could have done.

Studies have shown that many people are bouncing back from bankruptcies and foreclosures and are now buying homes again.  This is a GREAT time to buy as a well qualified buyer.
