I agree with John and would even add "very" unlikely. He's right on about square footage, number of beds/baths. If those change/increase, then they should be publicly recorded anyways - so it wouldn't be because of any changes on Zillow.

No, of course not. Assessors dont use Zillow for data.

My guess is "unlikely". If you were to say add another couple hundred square feet to the home, put that up on Zillow, and the assessor's office just happened to see it, you may trigger a visit from the assessor. But honestly I doubt they have the bandwidth or man power to scour Zillow for changes to property. And in general, improvements like granite countertops, new carpet, air conditioning, etc. won't increase your property taxes even if the assessor comes to your door for an inspection. They really want to know it's still a 3 bedroom (not 4) 2 bath (not 3) 1,200 square foot home . . . in other words, they want to know any additions you've made to square footage, room layout, etc. Those are the things that affect your property taxes.
